HAPPY NEW MONTH AND SEASON GREETINGS!!!

I presently lack the linguistic construction to present my thanks and gratitude to you, to you who is presently reading this piece and to those who have been here to read one or two pieces in my blog. Richard Oluseye Anthony is committed to sharing his thoughts on social issues and will not have been here if not for God my Father and  you all. This is not my end of the year speech (lol), but my cross-over speech to the last month of the year of 2014. You guys have been fantastic and loving, you have always given me reasons to give my best when blogging my thoughts.  The funny and inspiring thing is that, you all come from all over the world, especially the United State of America to this tiny space to read my thoughts, I am humbled and honoured. Wishing you all happy new month and compliment of the season
May all our dreams and aspiration which are targeted for 2014 be achieved before the end of the year, in Jesus name…

Meet University of Ibadan Best Graduating Student 2012/2013 Academic Session

Miss Opeoluwa, in the University of Ibadan, for her convocation

While some ladies are out there making the headlines for their successes in various ways be it; entertainment, fashion, entrepreneur et al, I am focused on blogging about a lady of academic and virtuous substance, who once again reiterate the saying that ‘women are key players in the development of a nation, especially when they are educated’- Richard Oluseye Anthony.
Meet Miss Opeoluwa, who happens to be the best graduating student of the University of Ibadan for the 2012/2013 academic session. Miss Olawale Opeoluwa, 22, graduated from the department of Petroleum Engineering (the oil money sector *winks*) with a 6.8/7 CGPA and currently she is a Batch B’ corp member, obeying ‘the clarion call’ to serve her fatherland, Nigeria. She tells Richard Oluseye Anthony, in an interview, her road to accomplishment and who she owes this fest to. Although she claims she is quite old, she however maintains that, her geographical location has been variable over time and as a result, she is a product of different cultural values. As I promised last week, I said I was going to publish an important article to add to the #MeetOneofUniversityofIbadanBestGraduatingStudent column, ‘This Is It’;

WHEN GOVERNMENT PRETEND TO BE COMMUNIST JUST TO PILFER NATIONAL TREASURY!!!

I will love to share something with you all, this thing I am about to share should not leave this ‘place’ and should be read with ‘open minds’…. But before I share this secret with you all, I want you to create a space in your heart for this aphorism;

“First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.” - Martin Niemöller

Now, to what I was about to share with you all, you all know it is not the business of the government to know what you cook or how you cook what you cook as long as it does not stand as a threat to the nation’s security in a democratic system of government. Except we are practicing a system of government, where all wealth and property in the nation/country is owned and managed by the state, we can give the government the right to decide how we cook our food.

AGAIN, MEET ONE OF UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN BEST GRADUATING STUDENT

Osho Samuel himself...

Here I am again; I promised you all that I will be introducing one of the outstanding products from the Premier University, University of Ibadan this week (#MeetOneofUniversityofIbadanBestGraduatingStudent). Knowing fully well that ‘promise is a debt’, I have sincerely had sleepless nights and less social days in catching up with this brilliant graduate, so as to make this interview published. Last week, I introduce to you a fantastic lad, who finished top of the faculty of Science with a CGPA of 6.6/7, this time around, I will be introducing to you one of the very best from the faculty of Engineering who graduated with a CGPA of 6.7/7. His name is Osho Samuel Adetunji, he graduated from the department of Mechanical Engineering in the 2013/2014 academic year. He tells me how the journey has been and what it took him to accomplish such feat.
Please, do not forget the intent of this column or article; ‘to show the world what product Nigeria/Africa can produce when it comes to providing excellence in academic and innovative ideas’. This is also aimed at telling the Nigerian government that we the Youth can do extraordinary things and still remain the hope of this country, they just need to believe in ‘us’.
Next week, I will be introducing to you, the best graduating student of the University of Ibadan, for the 2013/2014 academic session. Believe me; you would not want to miss this interview, as the person in question is a motivating story to ladies across Africa. She is the perfect attestation to the African saying that “what a man can do, a woman can do better”. Subscribe to this blog so you will not miss this upcoming interview. But for the main time, savour this brilliant and coordinated response from my friend Osho Samuel below:

INTRODUCING: #MeetOneofUniversityofIbadanBestGraduatingStudent

@Roluseye

Some people ask me questions as to why I am writing my article on #MeetOneofUniversityofIbadanBestGraduatingStudent and why I am focusing on the University of Ibadan alone. Here is my humble response:
I am not restricting my article to the overall best graduating student from faculty or the University, rather I am publicly showing my readers who are majorly from America and other European countries how sound Nigerians/Africans are in terms of academic and innovative activities. I will however not mince words when it comes to writing the academic status of those who I interview, be it they are the best in their department, faculty or the entire University community. Both the intent is to cover if possible and if time permits, all discipline.
I just kick start the column with restriction to only University of Ibadan for now because that is my Alma Mata. But i hope to cover most Nigerian Universities and possibly major African countries. So far, we have interviewed Emmanuel (Zaga), a humble and good friend of mine, who finished his undergraduate pursuit as the best in his faculty. Check out the interview link Here.
The two graduates I will be interviewing and introducing next/soon on my blog are actually from the Faculty of Engineering; Osho Samuel from Mechanical Engineering and Opeoluwa, from the department of Petroleum Engineering; one of them is the University Best Graduating Student in the 2013/2014 academic session. So keep your fingers crossed and kindly subscribe to this blog to stay up-to-date

If you feel your school usually produce the products that fits this trend, kindly mail (richard4real55@gmail.com) me your school name and the contact of the person you wish ‘us’ to interview.
NOTE: This column is intended for only first class graduates who are 'exceptionally' news worthy.

SERIOUSLY, MARK ZUCKERBERG WANTS TO MAKE THE WORLD AN OPEN INTERNET SPACE

Photo Credit: http://i.telegraph.co.uk

Mark Zuckerberg  beliefs that ‘when people are connected, we can achieve extraordinary things’, apparently has inspired him on a new project to provide free internet access to the world, under the platform of Internet.org.
According to Mark Zuckerberg, internet.org is saddled with the responsibility of providing free data access to a set of basic internet services across countries of the world.
The CEO of Facebook, who recently asserts that the social network site can now boast now of more than 1.35 billion people using it every month  and over 860 million every day at #FacebookHQ, is getting a lot of plaudit for his innovative ideas and his existential contribution in the world today.
As regards the recent outbreak of the killer disease, Ebola, on November 11, Mark assured us (the World) that Facebook Inc. is doing its part to help fight Ebola. So he announced three things:

ROYAL NIGHT OUT: PRINCE HARRY HAVING 'FUN' WITH ‘SHISHA’ IN ABU'DHABI

Prince Harry Enjoying his 'smoke'

 Well, whoever cares to listen should listen now and listen good, be careful who you trust or take as a role model; not even the prince or king can be trusted, they are humans and as such act as human most times. If you're a member of the Royal Family, these photos can be viewed two ways I believe;

Firstly, glass half empty: Prince Harry is partying his face off in Abu Dhabi, spotted by Clickstarpics last week on a yacht smoking a hookah.

WHEN #MTN NIGERIA CARRYS OUT THEIR FRAUDULENT ACT

Correct me if I am wrong, there is no greater extortion done in the telecommunication industry that ever exceeds the act being carried out by MTN who claim to be a greater/better network provider.  They have been extorting us (Nigeria) from the birth of mobile communication otherwise known as GSM in Nigeria. You might wonder what has led me into writing about MTN in this manner, well, I guess if you were the one who wakes up early in the morning only to wake up with a text that you have spent 50naira in your sleep or made some transaction in dreamland that cost you 50naira in real world, you would go to court (not joking here though). I wonder why people have not taken this guys to court? oh, I remember, we are in Nigeria where extortion and corruption seems to be celebrated.

HOLD ON: LET ME INTRODUCE THE WORLD FAMOUS CONTORTIONIST, #DR

Dflex doing his thing in this photo-shoot
This dual are popularly referred to as DR, I am meant to say they are known as DR, which is their stage name. Currently, I stand to be corrected, they are the best contortionist in West Africa. I am made to belief by their manager that they got that name DR out of their individual names, as one is referred to as Dflex (a popular figure who laid a landmark at last year’s Nigeria Got Talent, he was the first runner up), while the other is known as Richy (not my Richy ooo, but he is a fantastic dancer as well). Their interview will be coming up in two weeks on this blog, so i would advise you keep your fingers crossed...
However, one unique thing about these guys called DR is that they are PROFESSIONAL CONTORTIONIST AND DANCERS who have performed in the following shows, videos, events, but not limited to these;

MY REALIZATION; HARD TIMES DO NOT LAST FOREVER…

Mother Earth. Source: Wikipedia.com

Recently, I have come to realize that love takes time to grow. The point is love should be allowed to grow. Like a butterfly that doesn’t possess its beauty from the origin of its lifespan, larva state, but gets its beauty when it becomes an adult. So also is love, you don’t just see a person and say you love him/her, which to me is lust.
I have come to understand also that sufferings do not last forever, just like the rain doesn’t keep on dropping forever or the
