Is God a Liar? - The synagogue Saga

I am here again; welcome people to my personal blog. I have some salient issues in my head to write about, I will streamline it to one though. And that is the issue relating to the recent collapse of the building of a popular church headed by a prominent pastor by name T.B Joshua, synagogue church. T.B Joshua is prominent for predicting the future, he is much of a seer than a preacher and most times, he claims he has or gets his directions directly from God. However, the pastor in question has been in-consistence with his preaching and has made people believe God is a liar, but the truth is man is the liar not God. Some of his predictions however really come true, but I merely believe they are coincidence. The logic is, if T.B Joshua gets his direction from God and T.B Joshua fails in one of his prediction, therefor, God is a liar/failure. The God that is
being described by many people as the Omniscience, the Unmoved Mover, The First Cause, at al. is not a failure or a liar.
However, the shocking thing, well not much of a shock to me though but to Nigerians and his followers is the recent collapse of his Church in Lagos that records a death toll of over 19 and leaving over 200 people injured. The question that is on peoples’ lips is that; didn’t T.B Joshua see that coming as a pastor? His defense was however that he was the target, who cares who was the target, what we know is that over 19 people have lost their lives for following him. Many of his fanatics and believers would want to argue that Jesus was accused to save himself when he hung on the cross, but they will not see to it that God is trying to send a message to the world, especially Nigerians. Nigeria is filled with so many ‘so called’ men of God who rob the poor of their money and dine with the rich. This was the time Jesus was talking about when he spoke and told us to be weary and careful of fake prophets.
Apparently, this incidence comes in a time when the next general election is near, therefor, Nigerians need to be careful as to who they listen to because this time, an institution that is supposed to be the ‘opium of the people’ is now used as a tool in the hands of political thugs and dogs, who find joy in the oppression of the people. You will hear some ‘so called’ men of God storm the media with all kind of prophesies and ‘revelation’ as to who to be voted for and elected; Nigerians need to be careful and tread carefully. God saith in his word in Heb. 8:10, “…I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God and they shall be to me a people…”. Thus, we can hear God talk to us as to who to vote for and who to vote out when we look at our environment and hear their ideologies and agendas.
God is not a liar neither is He evil, but humans are, when you listen to them and not the words of God… See you all next time.
