I have not decided on a stance as regards the
deep mess our dear country is in as regards a criminal investigation carried
out by the South African government against Nigeria, but I smell foul play in
the scenario. As a concerned citizen, I am curious to know if this large amount
of foreign currency ($9.3 million) was bought from a bank using naira OR
withdrawn from CBN OR simply was money stored under Uncle Jonathan's mattress. It
is just pitiable to see that our so called politicians cannot just stop portraying
all Nigerians as corrupt and greedy to the whole wide world.
Dollars isn't our currency. So how did the
federal government supposedly obtain this large amount? If it was truly for the
procurement of arms, then there should be paper trail of how the money was
obtained here in Nigeria. And this should go on to serve as proof to the SA
government.
I trust Nigeria government. They would claim they
simply bought it from one mallam under the tree at the Muritala Mohammed
Airport.
Meanwhile
the poor masses are being disturbed and made to pay charges for a cashless
policy they themselves do not respect/follow. What is the Central Bank of Nigeria
doing about this since the money could only be sourced from a bank or CBN
itself? Or is this part of the cashless policy?
Crime is apparently ridding on the back of our
country Nigeria where blue is black and yellow is purple… what I really hate
about these whole hullabaloo is the involvement of religious bodies such as Christian
Association of Nigeria (CAN) in politics. I am still trying to fathom if they
wanted to use Pastor Ayo’s jet to carry the arms into the country or something?
On the other side of the hall, we have the self-righteous and greedy oppositions
who are not even better of judging and power-hungry. Why most countries are
planning a trip outside this planet and explore other planets, our greedy
rulers are busy embezzling public funds.
Mimicking the First Lady of the Federal Republic of
Nigeria; “. Pilot na only you waka fly? What of the owner of the plane and the
cash? Those ones no come too? Chai! The blood of innocent Nigerians are
crying!! Cryyyying!!! Chai there is God o!!!!!!!!!!!
